October 14, 2003 – SoftLogica LLC announced WAPT
3.0. With this easy-to-use wizard driven tool you can
quickly get the meaningful information on how your web
system performs under various load conditions. Wizard
helps clarify testing objectives, properly configure test
and correctly interpret test results. You can generate
a basic scenario to test your web site or application
in a matter of minutes.
WAPT models real workload and equips you with all client-side
information required to catch performance bottlenecks.
You can use a regular workstation running WAPT to create
a heavy load against tested server. Up to 1500 concurrent
virtual users can be generated depending on the test scenario
and test machine hardware.
WAPT includes a set of features for testing of dynamic
web applications. You can specify different names/passwords
or other values for different virtual users. The program
can handle dynamic hidden values and session variables.
WAPT supports testing of sites protected with basic authorization
and HTTPS/SSL, so you can both record and play back requests
to secure content.
WAPT creates complete log of virtual users activities
for each test, including all requests and server responses.
Test results are represented by descriptive graphs and
reports to give you all the detailed information about
web site performance in specified load conditions. Text
reports are saved in Microsoft Excel compatible format.

The 30-day trial version limited to 20 concurrent virtual

WAPT is priced at $250 (USD) per license. Volume discounts
